INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION AND COOPERATION

Trough the participation in the Programme of Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities ( the “111” plan ),SKLLMD had establishment strong collaboration and partnership with the world-class laboratories in the polymer optoelectronic eld.With the approval by the Ministry of Education, our international collaboration was further strengthened through the establishment of the Joint International Research Laboratory of Advanced Functional Materials in 2014.

Professor at UCSB, , honorary doctorate winner of Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2000 of SCUT, chief scientist of “Programme of Introducing Talents of Discipline to Universities”, World-known solid-state physicist, who is pioneered in the eld of polymer optoelectronic materials and devices.
 

Richard Friend:

Member of the Royal Society and the Royal Academy of Engineering, a professor at the Cavendish laboratory of Cambridge University, the inventor of polymer light-emitting diodes, “Millennium Technology Prize” winner in 2010

C. W. Tang:

Professor at the University of Rochester, member of US National Academy of Engineering inventor of organic light-emitting , visiting professor at SCUT, diodes and organic photovoltaics“Wolf Prize in Chemistry” winner in 2011 .
